Home loan questions, answered.

How do I know how much home I can afford?

Things like current rates, your income, monthly expenses, down payment, and credit history all play a part. We’ll work through the numbers with you and help you find a comfortable price range before you start house hunting.

Can I get pre-approved before I shop?

Yes. Getting pre-approved can give you a better idea of your price range, so you can focus on homes that fit your budget. If buying a home is on your mind, we’re here to answer your questions and talk through your options.

How much do I need for a down payment?

The amount you’ll need depends on the type of home loan. We offer first-time homebuyer loans and other low-down-payment options. We’ll help you compare what’s available and find something that works for you.

What’s the difference between a fixed-rate and adjustable-rate mortgage?

With a fixed-rate mortgage, your interest rate stays the same for the full loan term. With an adjustable-rate mortgage, the rate can change, which means your payment may change too. We’ll talk through both options and help you understand what may fit your plans.

Wherever you’re starting, we’ll start there with you.
