We are Linden Credit Union.
Badger Globe Credit Union is now Linden Credit Union. New name, new look, but the same same credit union underneath:
- Your accounts and account numbers stay the same
- Same Neenah branch, same people, same phone number
- Nothing for you to sign, switch, or set up

We chose Linden because it reflects who we’ve always been.
Linden trees are native to Wisconsin and have long been known as “community trees”— deeply rooted and quietly dependable places where people gathered and stayed connected. That meaning felt familiar to us. Linden reflects the credit union we have always worked to be: grounded in our community, growing alongside the people we serve, with room for everyone.

Your questions, answered
Why did you change the name of the credit union?
We changed our name from Badger Globe Credit Union to Linden Credit Union because we now serve a much broader community than our original name suggested.
Badger Globe Credit Union was founded in 1947 to serve mill workers and their families. Today, anyone who lives, works or attends school across seven Wisconsin counties can join. But our old name still made some people wonder whether our credit union was meant for them.
Linden better reflects who we are today while keeping us connected to the values we were built on: people helping people, looking out for our neighbors and growing together. Our name and look are new, but the same team is still here to serve you.
How does this change affect me as a member?
Day to day, hardly at all. Your accounts, account numbers, federal insurance, and our routing number are unchanged. The people who answer the phone are the same people. You will see a new name and new colors on the sign, the website, and your statements, and over time you will see us in more of the communities around us. That is the whole of it.
Are any products, rates, fees, or terms changing?
No. Your account agreements, disclosures, rates, and fee schedule carry over exactly as they are. Nothing about your loan, your certificate, or your checking account changes because of the name. If we ever do change a rate or a fee, you will hear it from us directly and in plain language, the way you always have.
Is the Neenah branch staying open?
Yes. You’ll still find us at the same branch on North Green Bay Road, with the same hours and familiar faces. As we grow and welcome more of the community, we remain committed to serving our current members right here. Stop in anytime—we’d be happy to see you.
What was the inspiration behind the new name and logo?
The linden is native to Wisconsin and is known as a community tree. Towns planted them in their centers as places where people could gather and spend time together, which felt like the right idea for us. It also points back to 1947, when nine people planted something they hoped would outlast them. Our logo uses linden leaves for growth, connection, and community.
Is Badger Globe Credit Union merging or being acquired by another financial institution?
No. This is a name change and nothing more. We are the same independent, member-owned credit union we have always been, with no merger, no acquisition, and no outside owner. Nobody bought us and nobody is moving us. You still own this credit union, exactly as you did the day before the name changed.
Will there be any staff layoffs or reduction as a result of this rebrand?
No. This change is about our name and our reach, not our staffing. Not one position goes away because of it. The same people who know your name will be at the desk and on the phone, the same as they always have been. A new sign out front does not change who is standing under it.
Will the leadership or Board of Directors be changing?
No. The same leadership team and the same volunteer Board of Directors are guiding the credit union through this change. Our board is made up of local members you elect, so the people answering for this credit union are still the people who live here. A new name does not change who we answer to.
Is Linden Credit Union in solid financial standing?
Yes. We have served this community for nearly 80 years as a member-owned credit union, and this change comes from a position of strength rather than pressure. Your deposits stay federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000, and our earnings keep going back to members as better rates, lower fees, and support for the community.
Is there anything I need to do as a result of this change?
Nothing at all. Your accounts and your access keep working the way they always have, your account numbers do not change, and your cards and checks keep functioning as usual. The one exception is if you carry our Mastercard credit card, which is covered further down. Otherwise there is nothing on your list.
Can I continue to use my Badger Globe Credit Union credit card, debit card, or checks?
Yes. Keep using them exactly as you do today. Your cards will keep working at the register and at the ATM, and merchants will keep accepting your checks. There is no cutoff date and nothing you need to do. When your card comes up for its normal reissue, the new one will carry the Linden name.
Will I be issued a new debit card, credit card, or checks?
Your current cards and checks stay valid as long as they normally would, and when your card comes up for regular reissue or you order more checks, the new ones will carry the Linden name. One exception: if you have our Mastercard credit card, you will receive a Visa with a new number, so any recurring payments on that card will need updating. Your credit limit and due date stay the same.
Will I need to download a new app on my phone to conduct mobile banking?
No. You will see a new name and look once the mobile app update arrives, and most phones will install it automatically. If yours asks you to update, that is all it takes. One thing to know: if you use Face ID or a fingerprint to log in, enter your Login ID and password the first time after the update, then turn biometrics back on.
Will I need to set up direct deposit or payroll deduction again?
No. Your account number and our routing number are both staying the same, so there is nothing to re-enter and nothing to hand your payroll department. Your paycheck will land where it always has, on the same day it always has. You do not need to tell anyone who pays you that our name changed.
What if I have recurring payments set up through online bill pay? Will those be affected?
They will keep running on schedule. Because your account number and our routing number are not changing, automatic payments, direct deposits, and transfers all continue without interruption. There is nothing to re-enter. The only exception is if you use online bill pay to make recurring payments to our Mastercard credit card. Because our Mastercard credit cards will be changing to Visa, you’ll need to update that scheduled payment with your new Visa account information once you receive the new card.
Will my account number remain the same?
Yes. Your account number stays exactly as it is, and so does our routing number. Nothing linked to either one needs to be touched: direct deposit, automatic transfers, automatic loan payments, and any outside app you have connected to your account all keep working.
Will ATMs still work during this transition?
Yes. The ATM at our Neenah branch and the CO-OP network of surcharge-free ATMs nationwide stay available to you the whole way through. Your card and your PIN work the same way they always have. Nothing about a name change touches the networks your card runs on.
Are my online banking log in credentials the same on the new website?
Yes. Your Login ID and password stay the same, and so does everything inside your account. The only difference is where you start from. You will reach the login through our new website instead of the old one.
Will I experience any interruption in service as a result of this change?
We are not expecting any downtime. Your accounts, your cards, and online banking are all built to carry straight through the transition. If anything does need to pause briefly, we will tell you ahead of time by email and at the branch, with the date and the hours spelled out.
Will the credit union’s routing number change?
No. Our routing number stays 275980751. Every direct deposit, automatic payment, and transfer already set up with it keeps running without interruption. If a payroll department or a billing company asks you to confirm it, that number is still the right one to give them.
How do I contact the credit union if I have questions?

Wherever you’re starting, we’ll start there with you.
